Plato’s Cave: Unchaining the NFP Sector
The NFP sector has long-held a place in the landscape of Australia’s growth based on its philosophies and beliefs. That place, whilst pivotal, has been held based on a reality that is both static and tenuous. We must create a new reality; a reality that is market-driven, client-centred and assertive. Using Plato’s Allegory, this presentation challenges participants to reflect upon the chains that hold their organisation captive. It will facilitate an exploration of a new reality (including mission, visions and values) and evoke an assertive, respectful path to shifting mindsets and operational structures within the sector.
