How Your Board Can Make Better IT Investment Decisions
Tammy Ven Dange
IT Advisor for NFP Sector, Roundbox Consulting
Twenty-five years ago, Tammy Ven Dange helped a client set up a new charity to support military veteran organisations. Since then she's remained heavily involved in the Not for Profit (NFP) sector while concurrently working in the IT industry for much of her career.
She's started two NFPs, been on the Board or Advisory Committee for six, facilitated many strategic planning sessiomost recently was the CEO of a charity.
As for IT, Tammy entered the industry as a project manager for the original NASA SAP implementation in 2001. Her last corporate job in the sector was the Head of Public Sector for an Australian IT company.
Today she helps Not for Profits make strategic IT decisions, especially around IT investments with her business, Roundbox Consulting. She can help with the selection of an individual solution or a full transformation roadmap that includes a review of their entire enterprise architecture.
This presentation will help boards make better IT investment decisions that help increase revenue, reduce risks and better support their organisational missions.
Not for Profits are increasingly reliant on technology. Just like businesses and government agencies, they:
-
Have private information about their stakeholders stored in systems.
-
Process credit card payments online.
-
Pay suppliers electronically.
-
Could not function without their IT systems and stakeholder data.
-
Would have unhappy stakeholders if their personal data was compromised by attackers.
Yet, how many boards think strategically about their IT investments?
Join Tammy to help your board make better IT investment decisions that help increase revenue, reduce risks and support your organisational mission better.
